Brief

Our client developed a lean first version of Women In Web Dev website and got to work building the community. After establishing the community, it’s time to attract sponsors and take the brand experience to the next level. Our job was to develop a new brand identity for Women in Web Dev and redesign the responsive website.

Responsive Redesign

In a matter of 17 days we transformed the existing Women In Web Dev experience into a comfortable, easy-to-navigate and welcoming online ‘clubhouse’ for the members of Women In Web Dev, ultimately significantly improving visual experience and ability for users to effortlessly find and use the information they need.

A New Brand Identity

After completing an in-depth discovery session with our client, we started to get to the core of the founders' vision for Women In Web Dev. What it is and isn't, and where she wants it to go. After researching the domain and articulating a common vision we developed art directions for the new Women In Web Dev brand.

A Brand New Logo

Our client was initially keen on keeping the logo unchanged, but after seeing and approving the art direction, opened up to exploring what a redesign could look like. Designing an evolution of the logo would be really beneficial to creating a cohesive brand experience. We kept the anatomy of the logo the same to take advantage their existing brand equity. After working through a matrix of options we approved a new logo for Women In Web Dev.
